Praise for Prosocial Behavior

Prosocial behaviors are behaviors that help other people. Focusing on prosocial behaviors can help children who have a hard time connecting with peers because they will see the behaviors that get positive attention. They will also get positive feedback and praise when they use prosocial behavior. Try using a helper jar or incorporating peer feedback at the end of an activity or project.
