Brain Breaks

Brain breaks are short, energizing activities that provide a mental and physical break from focused work. These breaks can be very helpful for children who struggle with focus or attention. When we move, our brains receive more oxygen, which helps us feel more awake and alert. Moving our bodies also releases energy and tension, making it easier to concentrate. Fidgets can help children who need more constant physical input, and an obstacle course can be an easy and fun whole-group brain break.
