Self-talk

We all have an inner voice running throughout the day that combines our thoughts, beliefs, and biases. This inner voice, or self-talk, can be positive and encouraging or negative and self-defeating. Teaching children positive self-talk helps develop a positive self-image and increases self-confidence. Two examples of self-talk activities are to create positive affirmations and flip your thoughts.
